International Association of Workplace Bullying and Harassment Conference

I’m happy to announce that I’ll be speaking at IAWBH2026!

I’m looking forward to speaking at the 15th Biennial International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment (IAWBH) Conference in June.

This global conference has been held previously in Canada, the UK, Norway, Ireland, France, and the United States, including cities like Montréal, London, Bergen, Dublin, Bordeaux and San Diego. I feel very fortunate that the conversation is now coming to Canberra!

The 2026 IAWBH Conference brings together leading international researchers, practitioners and policymakers. The theme for 2026 is “How do we solve a problem like…?” This reflects the reality that workplace bullying and harassment are not simple problems with neat solutions. They sit at the intersection of power, culture, leadership and accountability and require honest, interdisciplinary conversations.

If you’re interested in these issues - whether from a research, policy or leadership perspective - it’s a great opportunity to engage in a global conversation, here in Australia.

My presentation will explore what happens when reform meets reality and why progress so often stalls in high-power institutions. It will be featured in a practical insights session, entitled “When power resists change: lessons from toxic parliaments.” If you’d like to attend the conference, you can register here: https://www.iawbh2026.org/register
