On 2 September 2026, Jo supported the national launch of The Gender Index Australia.
The Gender Index brings together data on women-led businesses across Australia, providing a new evidence base for understanding where women are building businesses, accessing capital, scaling and participating in the economy.
The inaugural Australian report goes beyond representation to examine questions of economic power -including who owns businesses, who attracts investment and where the barriers to growth remain.
