I help leaders, boards, and organisations manage risks and act with confidence in complex environments. My advice is shaped by ethical leadership, global experience, and a deep understanding of how strategy works in practice. I have expertise in international engagement, workplace culture, government relations, and crisis management.
I bring significant advisory experience to the table. I have worked at the highest levels of government and international diplomacy. As Chief of Staff to the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Minister for Defence, I led a team at the centre of Australia’s strategic engagement during a period of significant global challenge. I was responsible for managing complex policy priorities, advising on sensitive defence and foreign policy issues, and coordinating across government and international partners to advance Australia’s interests.
As Deputy Official Secretary to the Governor-General of Australia, I held responsibility for governance, risk, and operational leadership within a high-profile national institution. This included oversight of security, people, and strategic engagement.
I have also served in senior diplomatic roles, including as Deputy Ambassador to Italy, Libya, Albania and San Marino and as Australia’s representative to multilateral organisations such as the UN World Food Programme. Earlier in my career, I built global experience through postings and deployments to Iraq, Papua New Guinea, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Fiji, India, Kenya and Ethiopia.
I have extensive networks that span government, military, diplomacy, multilateral organisations, business and community sectors. I understand how to connect people, policy, and influence.
